2012-April 2nd to April 5 – A total of 96 students from Waldwick High School received complimentary full heart health screenings. Two students were recommended for follow up to their pediatric cardiologist. Thank you Gift of Life America for your continued support!!


2011-June – Three Waldwick High School Students awarded scholarships in addition to one student from Westwood High School and one student from Bergen County Tech.

2011-May 14 – The 3rd Annual Sean Fisher Memorial Golf Outing took place at Apple Ridge Country Club in Mahwah, New Jersey. 144 golfers came out to support the Foundation.

2011-March 21st to March 24 – A total of 94 Freshman students were screened at Waldwick High School.  Three students required further testing.


2010-June – $5,000.00 in scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors.

2010-May – The 2nd Annual Sean Fisher Memorial Golf Outing took place at Darlington Golf Course in Mahwah, New Jersey.

2010-April – The first educational and heart health screening was conducted at Waldwick High School for freshman students. Thank you to Dr. Tozzi, The Gift of Life America Fund & Gregory Hirsch Foundation and all the other volunteers for making our dreams a reality. A special thank you to Mr. Carroll, Mr. Meyers and the board of education for permitting this to happen. Out of the 64 children who were screened, two children were diagnosed with a heart condition.

2009-September – A red plum tree was planted at Waldwick Middle School honoring Sean Fisher’s memory.

2009-August – A picnic table is erected at Traphagen Middle School to thank the Waldwick Community for their loving friendship and support! The plaque reads: “In Sean’s Spirit – Waldwick Pays It Forward

2009-June 15 – $12,500.00 in scholarship money is awarded to 11 graduating students who personify the type of individual Sean Fisher was.

2009-May 18 – The 1st Annual Sean Fisher Memorial Golf Outing is held. Monies raised on the day total over $16,000.00. Thank you to all of our committee members, volunteers, golfers and sponsors who made the day such a success.

2009-January – The Sean Fisher Memorial Foundation became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the first committee meeting was held.
Three students from Sean Fisher’s class at Waldwick Middle School begin a fundraiser in his honor.  A total of $1,000.00 raised by the students and faculty.


2008-August 25 – Sean’s corneas were donated to the Lions Eye Bank (now Eversight New Jersey).
